It's hard to imagine but we have been open to the public for over six years - officially on December 22. In celebration of this milestone we have a special beer released only at Trap Rock Brewing Company.
A new beer Kilt Dropper, a barrel aged We Heavy, Scotch Ale.
Wee Heavy, also known as strong Scotch ale, is a dark, malty beer with a rich flavor. It’s often described as having notes of caramel, toffee, and smoke. It is Light copper to dark brown in color and clear in appearance. We aged this Strong Ale on bourbon barrels from our friends at 45th Parallel.
This Strong Ale will warm you up during the chilly nights of late winter and early spring.
It is available only at our taproom in 10 oz and 5 oz pours. Sorry, no growler or crowler fills.

Trap Rock Brewing Company is a production microbrewery based in Saint Croix Falls, WI that uses mostly locally sourced ingredients to produce a variety of classic and cutting-edge beer styles. We are located in the beautiful City of Saint Croix Falls - the City of Trails. One block from the brewery is the Wolly Trail head and two blocks away is the Gandy Dancer Trail. There are two buildings on the block that is boardered by Blanding Woods Road to the west, Pine Street to the south, Industrial Parkway to the east and Maple Drive to the north. Whitetail Ale is an American Blonde Ale, and will be a flagship brew of Trap Rock. Pale straw to deep gold for color, an all malt brew, well attenuated with a lightly malty palate with a subdued fruitiness. Hop character is of the noble variety leaving a light to medium bitterness. A balanced beer, light bodied and sometimes lager like. This is lighter, easy drinking beer that is popular as an introduction to Craft Beer for those who are used to the mass produced macro lagers.

Monarch IPA is another flagship brew of Trap Rock. An abundance of Centennial hops leaves a clean citrus and piney finish without the extreme bite of a double IPA. An American IPA which is a top selling craft beer style in supermarkets and liquor stores across the USA.

A full bodied Red Ale rich in malt with spicy finish. A copper-colored ale with a nice \"Fuggly\" hop aroma and malty flavor. It was designed and refined to be a flavorful but quaffable everyday beer.

The nose of this beer offers hints of orange and floral notes in the background. An unfiltered beer, it's appearance is predominantly clean and clear with golden hues. Orange and grapefruit flavors give way to moderate hoppiness, some spiciness, and medium body.
